Collaborating with world-renowned Boostpower USA Marine of Newbury Park, CA, BORLA® incorporates its patented XR-1® Multicore race technology to deliver a pair of polished stainless steel muffler/exhaust tips for high performance power boats with up to 1200 BHP. Boostpower’s founder, Alexi Sahagian, has done extensive testing with spectacular results, showing the maximized horsepower and flow required by large cubic inch marine engines. His test results also showed a 12-22 decibel reduction through the rpm range with an average -22db at idle, -14db at 3500rpm and -12db at 5800rpm (as tested on a Boostpower 675hp engine and 900sci engine - results may vary). BORLA’s new marine muffler is constructed of high-grade T-316 polished stainless steel with a heavy duty ¾” base flange tapped for 3/8” stainless steel studs along with a polished mounting inner ring. Our RD results have shown T-316 stainless to be the most durable material for this application. In fact, we're the ONLY manufacture offering this superior material.

The muffler tips are unique in that they each have a 5” step up outlet on a standard 4” installation for maximum flow without re-cutting your transom. The 12” long component is a breakthrough for larger displacement supercharged marine engines.
